"This is Bud, sitting on Lzzy, who we adopted on February 28th, this year. We unexpectedly lost our beloved Hayley, who was only a month from turning 4 years old, and our Lzzy (3 years old) was lost without her. The cat and our senior, dog, Cerberus, (who passed in August) just didn't cut it, even though she loves them dearly. She needed someone to rough house with. We saw him online, and snow stopped us from meeting him the day we had originally planned, but we finally made it and in time too since someone else was interested in him."

"I saw her pic in another state's rescue site. She looked so sad, I just had to help. We drove up to get her. She had been chained inside a cage with a steel band around her neck in a puppy mill for three years. Poor thing was afraid of everything. I took her to the vet and found she has hip dysplasia, floating kneecaps, and other illnesses. She will need multiple surgeries. They had labelled her a biter and were set to put her down. It took time, but she is coming out of her shell and actually plays with my other two rescue dogs. It will be her first Christmas and I want to make it special for her and her siblings."
