Mutt Monday Education Info: Rabbits in Multi-Species Homes

While it's  a myth that rabbits cannot protect themselves, having one roaming free in your home with a Terrier or Hound can still be risky business for the bunny. A little training and some careful planning for your Hare's play space and you CAN make it work. We had a rabbit for nearly 8 years and he definitely added to our multi-species furry family in a positive way. Our Retrievers and little Oliver all managed to learn how and how not to approach him. Our list of lifetime pets grew once again, pleasantly.
