Fido's Freebie Friday Loves Spring Giveaways!

Spring is in the air and suddenly I'm seeing a flurry of activity outside my window as well as on my computer.  Spring and giveaways seem to go hand in paw. Many of us get a surge of energy when the days become longer and the sun begins to shine more. Is that what's happening? Who knows, but I sure am seeing signs of life in my office view.

Just yesterday my Golden Retriever cornered a Opossum who was out during the middle of the day, no doubt protecting her young from this large, nosy dog. Tanner didn't quite know what to do with this belligerent transgressor. She was seriously nasty and I had to drag my Retriever and his retrieving-DNA home against his will. He was determined to do what nature was telling him--RETRIEVE!

Last week nature played out an example of the food chain outside my office window as a Hawk caught a snake and proceeded to beat it to death with her strong talons before flying off with it to her nest. That feathered family was destined to have a fresh, high-protein dinner. Nature is certainly in high activity mode right now, following a parallel course to the Internet traffic I'm currently seeing.

Loving Siri's Helpful Reminders

Last week I mentioned asking Siri to remind you to visit Fido's Freebie Friday throughout the week to check up on what's new in our listings. Has anyone tried this? I'm enjoying getting acquainted with Siri, although my son tells me we still have a ways to go before she'll send a text message for me. More on that later....
