Weekly Wag # 23: Rainy Day Activities

Last weekend saw a deluge here. No walks, no swims, no dog parks. :(

Rainy day activities don't have to be boring though. We took a few photos and had some practice on training, but the laser tag game was the most fun of all.

As Tanner chased the light up and down this hallway that is easy to video tape in, Oliver watched in awe, unsure how to participate without being mowed down by his larger housemate. Wise choice!

If you don't have a laser pointer, grab one the next time you're out and add this to your inventory of fun indoor activities to enjoy with your pup. You'll find laser pointers on the cheap at dollar stores and other discount stores. You can even pick one up at Amazon. Enjoy the fun with your kitty too. Happy bonding!

dawn said...: Laser pointers can be fun! My dachshund love it, but I had to limit it because he would go crazy.

They might not be good with all dogs though. My friend had to stop playing with her sheltie with one because he became obsessive about chancing every flash of light he saw. evie said...: we dont play laser tag, we play ball, kick ball, soccer, and Frisbee...evie, the oldest loves balls, she has several play balls, i kick it down the hall and she runs it back to me, she will play for hours. we also play frisbee. i throw the frisbee and which ever girl gets to it first and can hold onto it brings it back to me...sometimes evie goes and gets another one as well, so we have 2 going at the same time...; June 3, 2012 at 12:58 AM
