Oliver Waits Permission
to Eat his Mellowed Out Treat
Animal care professionals say the 10 most common canine behavioral problems are barking, chewing, digging, separation anxiety, inappropriate elimination, begging, chasing, jumping, biting, and aggression.  Many of these behaviors aren’t just superficial naughtiness, but trace their origins to deeper-rooted causes, including fear, defensiveness, protection of property, dominance assertion, anxiety, curiosity, boredom, and/or excess energy.

Mellow Out Goes Down
Easily on a Treat
Flower essences can offer relief to dogs by helping to balance and harmonize emotional and psychological states.  The liquid plant preparations are made by infusing fresh flower blossoms under very specific conditions. They are easy to give and safe for dogs, horses, cats, birds and other small animals, too. Arenus makes 14 different, issue-specific blends of Botanical Animal® Flower Essences, each specifically formulated to deal with a different problem behavior, including these:

·        Mellow Out ® - to support pets with agitation, anxiety, or nervousness, such as before thunderstorms and fireworks displays
·        In TrainingTM  - to improve focus and patience, to help dogs in training
·        Life’s ChangesTM - when moving into a new home or after the loss of a housemate
·        IndependenceTM - to assist with separation anxiety, when pet must be left alone
·        Clear ThinkingTM - to help easily distracted animals stay focused on task at hand
·        Angel of Mercy® - for animals who have been rescued from neglect and abuse

This giveaway will focus on Mellow Out, which we reviewed yesterday. You can enter through Wednesday, June 13 to win a bottle for your pet. If the Rafflecopter entry form below is not in view immediately, simply click on the post title to refresh and it will appear at the bottom. Good luck to you all.

If you'd prefer to take the 'sure thing' route, feel free to order your Mellow Out from their website.

Wow, I'm surprised that they have 14 different blends. I could use several of these, but the one that I would like to try next is the Panic Attack.

I didn't know anything about these. They sound great. My boy can get a little worked up when I leave. So I would say Independence would be another I'd try.

Bentley can have an evil strike like his mom sometimes, so 'Devil Be Gone' may work. He's snappy when it's time to put him up and can get snappy towards other pups if they get too close to me. Before any trial and error I would like more research on the product and its effectiveness. Has Oliver or Tanner tried any of their products?

Wow, these sound great. We could really use Mellow Out for my other-dog-aggressive girl!

@tadalafil: These products are like homeopathic remedies that are made from flower essences. Check the website and read the ingredients. You can look them up on Wikipedia.

I'd like to try Devil Be Gone as a training aid for my reactive dog, Zora.

Angel of Mercy -another great one to try .. for feeling unsafe and insecure and Devil Be Gone -for an obsessive need to protect the caregiver ~ i think YoYo has both of these problems

In Training sounds just right for my dog! haha.

I few of these seem like I could use them but the one that I would really like is Safe Journey. I really like to bring my one dog places but I can't go places that are more then 20 minutes away because that's as much time as she can be in the car to tolerate it before she gets sick.
