Pet Product Excitement at Fido's Freebie Friday

If you missed my Wednesday post about pet product and industry insights, you may wish to take a peek and see what I learned at last week's mega product show, Global Pet Expo. There are some exciting things happening in pet products, despite the still slower economy, so stay tuned for a new year of cool goodies.


A couple of surprises are in store for you in the next couple of weeks, in addition to new products and giveaways that you always see here. My cohost, Doggies and Stuff, and I would like to get the word out about Fido's Freebie Friday to pet owners looking for a fun way to win products they need, as well as to let other bloggers know we are here.


One thing you'll see is another contest designed to help promote Fido's Freebie Friday. This one will be specifically for bloggers, but another giveaway just for Fido's Freebie Friday will be coming soon for those of you who are not bloggers. So no long faces out there; your turn will be coming soon again.

Since day one when we opened, Fido's Freebie Friday has had a Help Page to offer assistance to newer bloggers who wish to participate. This page remains active and includes information and links to FTC guidelines, Facebook regulations regarding contests and giveaways, photo tips, and help with linking up to our blog hop.


Starting next week, I'll be offering Product Review Pointers, tips for bloggers looking to get involved in this fun way to attract traffic to your site. Each of these tips will be easily actionable so you can implement them quickly and move on to the other million things you have to do.


Our Schedule: As in the past, each week's new version of Fido's Freebie Friday will continue to open at 4 PM ET on Thursdays. The only change is that linkups now remain OPEN through 3:59 PM ET the following Thursday, giving you 24/7 access to your giveaway posts on All Things Dog Blog and Doggies and Stuff.
