Dog Magazine Giveaway

There's something about the feel of turning a real page that surpasses the joy of using an iPod or a Kindle. I can't describe it fully, but I can say that I get a deepening sense of relaxation and am more fully drawn into the material when I have real pages to turn. Sounds funny coming from someone who spends 70 hours a week cranking out material for the Internet, right? I think so too.

I've learned to appreciate both for what they are. Today's giveaway commences a celebration of print magazines. There are 3 titles in the giveaway: FIDO Friendly, ModernDog, and Life+Dog. From my assorted batch of 8, each of 4 winners will receive 2 copies.

maritza said...: I love magazines and books and still prefer the actual feel of a book but my favorite authors are now only publishing some of their books in electronic version so i will be dragged kicking and screaming into the electronic age. evie said...: it would take me forever to name all of the magazines i subscribe to, horse and rider, business week, newsweek, martha stewart living, consumer reports, country life, self, more, better homes and gardens, dog living, the triangle dog, spca magazine, etc. dont have time to read them all, but i still get them....along with the daily newspaper. i read bark, modern dog and other dog magazines at the vet and "borrow" them.; March 17, 2012 at 11:53 PM
