Dog Magazine Giveaway

There's something about the feel of turning a real page that surpasses the joy of using an iPod or a Kindle. I can't describe it fully, but I can say that I get a deepening sense of relaxation and am more fully drawn into the material when I have real pages to turn. Sounds funny coming from someone who spends 70 hours a week cranking out material for the Internet, right? I think so too.


I've learned to appreciate both for what they are. Today's giveaway commences a celebration of print magazines. There are 3 titles in the giveaway: FIDO Friendly, ModernDog, and Life+Dog. From my assorted batch of 8, each of 4 winners will receive 2 copies.

    LOL, how funny! Despite my blogger status, I too love the weight and feel of magazines and books! I subscribe to several dog magazines and love snuggling down to read!

    I subscribe to Time Magazine and Brides Magazine. It would be great to get a magazine that is dog related!

    I subscribe to no magazines, but do receive a subscription to Country as a Christmas present from my grandma every year.

    I love magazines and books and still prefer the actual feel of a book but my favorite authors are now only publishing some of their books in electronic version so i will be dragged kicking and screaming into the electronic age. I would love to ck our the dog mags and maybee add them to my montly subscriptions

    I do not currently subscribe to any dog magazines, but we just adopted a dog two months ago, so it would be wonderful to get a magazine!

    I get a lot of free magazine subscriptions so I get pretty much anything you can think of. I most enjoy Smithsonian and Seventeen and I actually paid for Modern Dog and All You.

    I have been wanting to subscribe to some dog magazines, but they are rather pricey. I do get NOW (New Orleans Wedding Magazine) and Cosmo.

    I've wanted to subscribe to these magazine, in particular moderndog and Life + Dog (although Fido Friendly isn't bad either, I just don't know as much about that one).

    it would take me forever to name all of the magazines i subscribe to, horse and rider, business week, newsweek, martha stewart living, consumer reports, country life, self, more, better homes and gardens, dog living, the triangle dog, spca magazine, etc. dont have time to read them all, but i still get them....along with the daily newspaper. i read bark, modern dog and other dog magazines at the vet and "borrow" them.

    I get Bark magazine and love the day it arrives! It's exciting to get something that isn't a bill! Lol. Plus, it is way more satisfying to read a book, magazine, newspaper, etc. than it is to hold an e-reader.
