Nope. Not so. No way. No how. Not only are my boys energetic and enthusiastic, they were ready to get back to work on product reviews as soon as I got the camera out. I used some of their new kibble as treats the first day, wondering if they would be as eager to perform. That too surprised me. We're on our third bag (or is it 4?), so I suppose if we were going to see any behavior changes, they would have kicked in by now. I'm guessing what we have is a successful transition. Correction; I'm not guessing. It's clear that Tanner and Oliver are thriving on Organix Grain-Free.
How are my Grain-free trial partners doing with their transition? A group of you won free bags in early January and were promised another if you shared your feedback. Now is your chance. Tell me how your fido is doing. Anything different? New behaviors? Changes, either better or worse?
I'm curious to know if any of you have noticed a calmer dog that sleeps more soundly at night? This is the one observation I have made that I find quite fascinating, and of course extremely positive. Time to spill, folks. The comment link is open.
Each of you who won a free bag will receive another free bag if your feedback is left in my comments either here or at the previous Grain-free posts. Those of you who did not win in the last giveaway will have your opportunity if anyone misses their chance. And of course, there's always next time. I'll give 12 bags away, with first priority going to those on the Grain Free Trial. Entries will remain open through midnight on Thursday, January 26. Let me hear from you:

I won one of the previous bags. Shiloh has allergies, so he does very well on grain-free. I didn't notice an obvious difference between Organix and his previous brand, but he has been under the weather for a few weeks (not food related), so it's hard to know yet whether or not there will be a big difference between this brand and the other. They are both high-quality brands. I can say that he loves the taste of Organix, and he is picky with his food, so that is saying a lot. He would be happy to try another bag. :)

I started all our 6 dogs on the free Organix Grain-Free trial bag this past Saturday : ) I am happy to say everyone is doing well with the transition. I have two dogs that are very picky eaters and they love the taste of Organix Grain-Free. The same two have digestion problems with certian foods, treats and changes in food and are now starting the 50% mix and haven't had any problems : ) I have noticed the dogs sleep more soundly at night but I can't really say if that's because they have been playing more and if this is related to the change in diet...but I hope so. I am very pleased with how the dogs are doing on Organix Grain-Free. Thank you!

I didn't win before. I would like to try and see if this is good for my dogs. They are all getting older. Rita Spratlen rjspratlen@gmail.com

I have not noticed a difference in the energy or sleeping levels, but we are also, only at the 50/50 mix. I have noticed less scratching, but that is also in conjunction with an added allergy med. Bad timing there. When the food is fully switched over we'll back the allergy meds down and see what really made the difference. Sensitive stomach issues are not rearing their ugly heads so far, and hopefully they won't. No complaints so far!

I did not win, but would love to give Organix grain free a try.

Steel has a sensitive stomach and I would be curious to see if the Castor & Pollux grain free would make a difference. I did not win before.

Roxy and Molly are starting to sleep better, Roxy is not keeping me up all night barking so I think if thats from her being on the grain free Organix I will continue feed it to them even after the challenge

I have been feeding YoYo Organix and he is still eating it ! what a miracle itself because he is such a picky eater :) I did notice that he has to go less Potty ( only 2x a day instead of 3-4 ) and he does not have an issue with constipation or loose stool anymore.
so far i am very pleased with Organix Grain-Free. Thank you!

Hi Carrie, I won the organix and Bullet loves it! I haven't noticed much of a sleep difference, but I have noticed a difference in is bowels. He is "more consistant" and doesn't have any "potty issues" (not to sound gross but sometimes with a long hair chihuahua or any long hair dog, you know it can be messy with loose stool) so I am very impressed with Organix and Bullet loves it.

Pepper and Mitzi are both enjoying Grain-free Organix. We've been following the transition schedule and they seem to be taking it quite well. Actually, they appear to like it a lot and I'm happy to be feeding them a healthier alternative. *Thanks* for the giveaway!

I didn't win, but my vet told me a grain-free diet is best for dogs with cancer

I've been on grain free for years and it's gotten me to 16.5 years old! Good advice.

I didn't win one earlier but I would love to try Organix because my dog already eats grain-free food and I'm really interested in testing your theory about how your dog sleeps sounder at night. I'd love to test it and give feedback on it!

hi, my dog is 6 and slightly overweight. the vets asked us put her on diet food, but she is not doing well. i was wanted to ask everyone who tried orgaix grain free pet food. 1.is it good for audlt who is 6 years old. some people told me it is not good for their liver once they get older.who knows. 2. can it maintain proper weight or help weight lost (as it's grain-free?) please help, we want to hear what someone had actually feed their dogs orgainx grain-free, so we can know better. please help. everyday, we are worried, and not know what to feed for the next meal, is best for our dog. less and diet food makes her feet sliding, more or higher potein, makes weight-gain and harm her knees.and this grain free formula we never tried to put her on potein 30 formula. (used to feed potein22-24 fat 12-14) please help !!please .

Dear Anonymous: It sounds like you need a food recommendation from a veterinarian. You'll need to explain all the problems your pup has had with various types of food and go from there, considering his or her health issues. Best of luck!
