Tanner seems to want me to write a dog's version to Phoebe's song, "Smelly Cat". Do you remember that from FRIENDS?
"Smelly cat. Smelly Cat.
It's not your fault."
It's not your fault."
Looks like now it will be my turn to write to Judy. I know some dogs like to roll in other dog's poop, but to date, Tanner had never done that. Notice I mentioned " to date". Ugg!
Do you have this problem with your dog? Want to share your experiences or photos? I'd love to get some dialogue going on this. It's new to me and certainly not a fun problem to deal with. But I'll bet some of you have some funny or helpful stories on how to deal with this. Hit the comment link, or write to me at LetsAdoptaDogPark@gmail.com. Please help me and my smelly dog!
All I can say that is positive right now is that it's a good thing I was in stock on dog shampoo.

Most dogs will roll in smelly things to disguise their scent. This is especially true with hunting dogs. They do not want their prey to "smell them coming" so they roll in various smelly things. The worst thing my dog ever rolled in was dead fish on the bank of a pond. It was horrible...but he loved it, could not get enough of the smell on him!
