Well, folks, I couldn't look Oliver in the eyes today and not post this little guy's photos for anyone looking to adopt a Pap. Especially after I saw this picture of him looking just like Oliver's cousin, Jacque.
Naturally friendly to humans and dogs, Paps generally blend into a family of other dogs quite well; I speak from experience here, as little Oliver (pictured in my header above) has become quite a well-loved fella in my pack of three.
This beautiful boy has lovely coloring and is housetrained and obedient. He is 3 years old, giving your plenty of time to enjoy him, as Paps live longer than their larger canine cousins.
He has been given up for adoption by an owner who must move North and cannot take him along.

His name is Joker, a rather cute moniker for such a peppy little dog. This guy is not fond of being picked up, after having had an unfortunate experience. He jumped from a high kennel at the groomer's and was caught midair. While he did try to bite the groomer, anyone with a Pap knows they can't do much damage. Their teeth are about the size of BBs!
Something tells me that once you his new owner gains his trust, this will not be a concern. As for the dislike of being picked up, well, Oliver is the same way. He prefers his own four feet whenever he has a choice.
An endearing companion breed, this little guy will make some dog owner a wonderful pet. Interested? He's in central Florida. The contact is JoBradow@aol.com.
